ABOUT ME
German-Brazilian agricultural scientist with Master's degree in urban, rural, and regional planning and doctorate in agricultural sociology. 30 years of experience working for the German Agency “Bread for the World” and its predecessor organizations as a development policy officer and for the last 8 years as head of the South America regional unity. Since 2020, freelance work as development policy expert. Focus on topics and tasks related to processes of civic engagement for democracy, social justice, sustainable development, and intercultural understanding.
Solid Experience in:
- Advising non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on planning, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects, as well as on the programmatic implementation and accountability of government funds and donations;
- Leading interdisciplinary, intercultural teams in Germany and overseas;
- Contributing to institutional strategy development processes and participating in the constructive integration of the work of different departments or in coordination and networking between organizations;
- Campaigning, lobbying, advocacy, and development policy education;
- Moderating international seminars.
